Care Net Conference

In September, Stephanie and I will be traveling to Denver, Colorado to attend Care Net's annual conference. The theme this year is "Dare to Hope." Roland Warren, the CEO and President of Care Net says this on Care Net's website about the theme:

'1 out of 3... 9 Days...55 Millione 2013 Theme

The above metrics are ones that I think about everyday.  Why? Well, given our current trends, sadly 1 out of 3 American women will have an abortion by age 45 and these women, on average, will take just 9 days to make this life changing decision.  Since Rove v. Wade became law, this decision has resulting in 55 million babies losing a chance for life. 

It's easy to think about these statistics and lose hope.  But, behind every one of these statistics is a child...a mother...a father...a family. So, as Lamentations 3:20-23 says, we will remember them and we have hope because of the Lord's great love.  And, because His compassion never fails, ours will not...ever. Indeed, we boldly and confidently Dare to Hope!'

We are looking forward to the opportunity to grow closer to Him as we learn more about center ministry and fellowship with directors from all across the United States. 

This conference does bring some costs, including conference fees, travel to and from Denver, as well as hotel stay.
